What is This!?

We are almost finished with our orientation in CO. This past week has been a busy but wonderful time. We have been able to connect with some wonderful people who, like us, are preparing to move to Asia to teach English. We all come from different backgrounds but have many like passions, teaching English being one of them. Mongolia seems very close but still so far away. The past couple of weeks have seemed very unreal. It is hard to believe that we are finally at this point in life. The word "excited" really doesn't describe our emotions right now. We are certainly thrilled about this but scared all at the same time. We do not know much about where we are moving to or what we will be doing once we get there. This situation can be unnerving just moving in the US, a context that most of us are familiar with. However, we are preparing to transfer our lives to the other side of the planet into a culture that we are very unfamiliar with. We will go in as willing learners, but that does not mean things will be easy. Right now we are leaning on each other, our friends and family, and our Father. We know that we are right where we need to be. That in and of itself is a very encouraging thought.

The Final Stretch

We are only two weeks (14 days) away from orientation in CO! This is an exciting but busy time. We have begun the packing process as we prepare to move all of our belongings into storage. It has been difficult! Life has been very stressful. But we know that we are in the final stretch before reaching Mongolia and the next phase in our life. Thank you to all of you who have supported us along the way! We could not have made it this far without your help. Continue to lift us up during this time of transition!
